Second is the Affiliate Platform, these are the ones that you will be signing up for first before you can do affiliate marketing. Lastly, the Publisher, which is You, Publishers are usually classified as social influencers, Youtubers, etc.

- It is free, No membership fees needed. All you need to do is sign up on an affiliate platform and if you met their requirements you will be approved and will be able to start earning by sharing your affiliate links.
- Affiliate Marketing can be done on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and many more.
- Affiliate Marketing can be considered as an Investment and passive income which will produce earnings over time.
Cons
- There are a lot of Affiliate Advertisers, some have good reviews and some are bad. So better do some background checking before you promote their store otherwise your credibility might get affected.
- Affiliate Platforms and even Advertisers have their Validation Period which sometimes will take up to 2 months before they release your payment.
- Affiliate platforms don’t have a specific requirement. Some require you to have sufficient traffic on your page and some don’t require one. Meaning it is not always 100% guaranteed approval.
- Some Affiliate Platforms require you to have a website or blog spot where you can promote the Advertiser’s Banner via HTML.
- The validation period takes a while some might take up to 2 months or more.
Though there are some Advertisers that can release their payments much faster, just always remember to check the Validation and Payment terms.
